How can I resist the temptation to have sex?
I think that I might be in love…but what is it?
What things can you do in a relationship and still be “abstinent”?
Abstinence refers to waiting until marriage for all sexual activity. Sexual activity refers to any type of contact with genitals or sexual stimulation including sexual intercourse. Things not considered sexual activity would be things like hugging, kissing, holding hands, etc. but it’s also important, when you choose abstinence to know what types of affection will tempt you to engage in sexual activity and to avoid those things. Abstinence is the only 100% effective protection from the possible physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual consequences of sex before marriage. How can I resist the temptation to have sex?

Love is not just an emotional feeling; Love is a decision, an action carried out to let others know that you care about them. We want you to be able to know true love when you see it; here are some pointers to help you know what Love is and is not. This will help you know if you are truly in love with someone or if someone is in love with you.
What Love is:
- Patient and will respect your decision to be abstinent until you are married
- Kind to support you in your personal development and helps you work to achieve your goals
- Believing the best (good things) about you and what you want to be without putting you down or disrespecting you
- Trusting enough to allow for personal growth and to develop other relationships with people
- Hopeful and expects the best things in life for you
What Love isn’t:
- Envious or Jealous of you and what you have or what you do
- So proud to say “I’m sorry” or to say “forgive me”
- Rude and obnoxious
- Thinking of one self and one’s self only
- Full of anger all the time and keeps no record of all the wrong that has been done.
- Delighted at a loss or when you fail
